Sheffield United vs Crystal Palace for the English Premier League championship match on Sunday at Bramall Lane Stadium.
They hope to achieve their first win in the 2019-20 Premier League season when they face Crystal Palace on Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon.
Sheffield United started the season with a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth last weekend. Talented Billy Sharp got off the bench to score the equalizer at Vitality Stadium.
The Blades have had very positive results, much of the team’s success last season was based on a rock-solid defence, but this season in the Premier League the challenge is enormous, and the Blades seem to be ready for the fight.
Chris Wilder has a tough job at hand, but it will certainly be interesting to see what the coach has in mind for this season. The next three games for Sheffield United are really crucial, if successful, this season may be promising for them.
Sheffield United have the team completely uninjured. Wilder is unlikely to make any changes from what was a good performance in his last Premier League game.
Much has been said about Wilfried Zaha staying at the club, but in fact, the Ivory Coast international failed to leave Selhurst Park in the transfer market this summer, and now apparently will remain in the club until at least January.
Coach Hodgson would have been pleased with his team’s performance against the Toffees. It was an excellent start to the championship, but the Eagles are now looking to earn their first three points on Sunday.
Hodgson will be keen to improve his team this year, particularly when it comes to playing away from home. Palace won their last match against this opponent at Selhurst Park for the championship in February 2011, and now they hope to win again.
Palace lost 17 Premier League games last season, but achieved a respectable 12th place and was just three points behind ninth-placed Leicester City.
New summer signings Gary Cahill, Victor Camarasa and James McCarthy, were on the bench against Everton and are likely to start out of the starting eleven.
Both teams want to get their first Premier League victory. With more experience in this competition, Palace can leave here with a winning result.
