Less than one month from the NBA regular season start, there is no undefeated team, showing a tight run for the title this year. Despite this, four franchises are standing out, with better results in the beginning.
Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat, from the Eastern Conference, and Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz, from the Western, have, no maximum, three losses, and at least seven victories.
With eight wins and two losses, the 76ers lead the Eastern Conference, with the same retrospect at home and away (4 – 1). Phila has won six in a row and now has the best record in the East at 8-2, despite Bem Simmons not playing, Tobias Harris missing the last four games, and Joel Embiid struggling.
Considering all the league, the Sixers have the lowest rebounds per game, with 41.1, 23.8 assists (11th), and 111.1 points (8th).
As we said, with a lot of absences, some players are standing out: Embiid is averaging 21.4 PPG, 9.4 RPG, and 4 APG, Seth Curry, with 17.1 points, and Tyrese Maxey, adding 14.2 and 4.7 passes.
After reaching the Finals last season, the Heat is making a good start in this regular season, with seven wins and two losses. In second place from the conference, Miami also has one of the best stats in the NBA, leading in rebounds, with 50.3, 7th in assists (24.7), and 6th in points, 111.7.
From the players, Jimmy Butler has 24.7 PPG, 6.1 RPG, and 5.2 APG, Tyler Herro, coming from the bench, has 21.3 points and 5.7 boards, Bam Adebayo, with 19.4 PPG and 12 RPG, and Kyle Lowry, with 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.5 dimes.
Despite two last seasons different from what the supporters got used to in the past years, it looks like the Warriors will return to shine, with eight victories and only one defeat. This season, the franchise has 30.1 assist – league record, 2nd in rebounds, 49.6 and 3rd in points, 113.1.
With James Wiseman and Klay Thompson still out from the matches, Stephen Curry has an incredible start, with 28.8 points, 4.9 3 PM, 7 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. Jordan Poole and Andre Wiggins, with 17.6 and 15.9 points, respectively, and Draymond Green, with 8.6 PPG, 8.8 RPG, and 6.9 APG, are also averaging good numbers.
With seven wins and three losses, the Jazz is in second place from the West. The team is 4th better in PPG, with 113 and boards, with 48.6. On the other hand, it is in 29th from assists, with 19.8.
Donovan Mitchell, with 26.4 PPG, 4RPG, and 5.1 APG, Bojan Bogdanovic, with 17.3 and 4.7 rebounds, and Rudy Gobert, with 14.6 and 16.2 boards, have the best stats in the franchise this season.
