LA Galaxy vs FC Dallas for the Major League Soccer championship match on Thursday at Dignity Health Tennis Center Stadium.
The shape of LA Galaxy has dropped over the past month, and this has lowered the club to fifth in the Western Conference table, while Dallas has shown improvements in form.
All statistics point to goals scored at both ends of the pitch on Thursday and Dallas taking home at least a portion of the spoils, with a high chance of winning all three points.
Dallas leads the form guide with two wins and a draw in their last six games, but it’s the visitor’s recent record against LA Galaxy that really suggests they will have a positive result on Thursday’s game.
Dallas are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with LA Galaxy and have won their previous five matches, most recently in March, when they won 2-0 in Texas. Seven of these eight games ended in wins for Dallas, with a goalless draw coming in 2016.
Both teams have scored on four of the last five occasions these two sides have crossed, and with four of LA Galaxy’s last six games and three of Dallas’s last six games, I also believe there should be goals for both sides on Thursday.
LA Galaxy comes into this match after losing four of their last five MLS games, which is why I expect Dallas to claim at least one point when they meet.
I am confident that a double odds bet on Dallas will be settled and the result is 2-2. Dallas may even be favourites and remain unbeaten in their last eight meetings with LA Galaxy, with seven of those games ending in victory. The hosts have lost their previous three games in dispute, but have failed to score in two of their last six games, both away from home.
Bet: Both Score.
