Hebei CFFC vs Shanghai Shenhua for the Chinese Super League match on Friday at the Langfang City Sports Center.
Only one point and one place separate the fourth position of the Hebei CFFC team and visitors Shanghai Shenhua. Neither side faces Friday’s clash in good form, with both hoping to finish a run of two or three games without a win.
The Hebei CFFC hosted the Shenzhen last week where, despite dominating the ninety minutes, the home team failed to earn the three points the performance deserved. The sides played first half without a goal, but shortly after the hour mark, Dong Xuesheng put the hosts ahead. However, Hebei CFFC could not hold the advantage, and the visitors scored a goal in the last minutes.
Shanghai Shenhua made the short trip to play against the Shanghai SIPG when a single Hulk shot made the hosts to lead 1-0 at half-time. The Brazilian doubled his score in the 66th minute, but a goal from He Guan seemed to have brought the visitors back into the game. However, two minutes after making 2-1, Wang Shenchao restored the Shanghai SIPG two-goal lead and the game ended in a 3-1 defeat to the visitors.
The direct clash between these two clubs and the performances of the two teams over the last six weeks suggests that both sides will score more than 2.5 goals on Friday and that the Hebei CFFC team is in a better position to conquer the three points.
In the last six meetings between the two clubs, they have scored more than 2.5 goals, and Hebei CFFC have won three of their previous five meetings. Three of Hebei’s CFFC games and three of Shanghai Shenhua’s last six games have both scored and more than 2.5 goals. The visitors have lost four of the previous six games away from home, and that is why we are supporting that Hebei takes advantage in the match.
I am confident that both teams will score and more than 2.5 goals will be produced in the game on Friday.
My bet is both scores.
