In the only match this Wednesday, which refers to the semi-final round of the 2019 Gold Cup, will face the national teams of Haiti and Mexico.
The national team of Haiti arrives at this new match of the competition and has so far had a track worthy of registration at all levels, taking into account not only the small size of the country itself but also the very fact that the team is not at all placed as one of the squads that would eventually reach such an advanced stage of the competition.
The team has four wins in four games, and in the Gold Cup quarter-finals match defeated Canada.
As for the national team of Mexico, they enter this semi-finals game with a theoretically weaker opponent, but the team also had more difficulties in their match with Costa Rica than expected, after adding three consecutive victories in the group stage and with a good offensive record.
Taking into account what has been a very positive course both by the national team’s of Haiti and Mexico so far in this competition of CONCACAF. The fact that both sides only sum victories in the four matches they had (although one of the four Mexican national team victories was only obtained in the penalty kicks stage in the last knockout round), and most of the games from both had a high scoring average, I believe that this game, although it is of paramount importance to both of them for obvious reasons, will have a fair amount of goals scored using the somewhat enthusiastic and good offensive soccer demonstrated by the Haitians and Mexicans.
Coupled with this and taking into account the good campaign of Haiti, I believe that they can cope well in this game.
