More than 210 days after the last Super Bowl, on February 7, the NFL preseason will finally start. Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to keep the title at home and try the third championship, while the others 31 teams will try to avoid it.
The kickoff will be on Thursday, September 9, when the LV Super Bowl champion, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will play against Dallas Cowboys, at home, in the Raymond James Stadium.
In the last six seasons, the future Champion didn’t win their first game only at one opportunity. And it happened precisely the previous year when the Buccs went to New Orleans and had a 23-34 loss for the Saints.
But according to Bovada, Tampa Bay is one of the main favorites for the first game this season. Led by Tom Brady, the team has -110 odds to win the Cowboys for eight points or more. Will they have the third streak loss in a debut or not?
The Buccaneers had two losses in the last three seasons and only one win against the Saints in 2018. But in all of those games, they scored at least 17 points, even in losses.
Despite the Buccs, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams are also very favorite to win in the first week. The 49ers will play on Sunday, 12, against the Lions in Detroit. At the same time, the Rams will face Chicago Bears, on the same day, at home, in the same place as the Super Bowl LVI, SoFi Stadium.
Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Carolina Panthers will also start the regular season as favorites in their games duo to Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and New York Jets, respectively. It can be a good betting opportunity. According to Bovada, the Panthers has -235 odds to win the game against the Jets.
The matches between Los Angeles Chargers and Washington and Seattle Seahawks and Colts, at Indianapolis, must be the most levelheaded at this weekend.
