The Arizona Cardinals’ fans have many reasons to celebrate the beginning of the NFL regular season. After a 37 – 40 win against the Rams in Los Angeles, Arizona became the only unbeaten team this year.
Now they are first in points for, with 140, first in yards and second in touchdowns in the NFL. After five bad years with less than nine wins, the franchise will try to repeat, at least in 2015, when it finished the regular season in first place from the West National Football Conference, with 13 wins and three losses. Despite good numbers, they concluded that season with a 49 – 15 loss against Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship.
The main favorites for last week, Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills won their challenges. Now both have three wins and one loss this season.
In a tight 24 – 21 victory at home, Cincinnati had a more complex game than we could imagine, against Jacksonville Jaguars, which have no wins, last Thursday, September 30.
On the other hand, Buffalo had an incredible 40 – 0 win at home last Sunday against Houston Texans. It is the most significant win at this regular season, and they tied the same win-difference from the Buccs when they defeated Detroit Lions by 47 – 7 last year, in the 16th week.
Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints, which also were favorites for their matches, disappointed and fell for New York Jets and Giants, respectively, in the overtime. While the Titans lost by 27 – 24 at home, the Saints lost by 27 – 21, also at home.
After a 19 – 17 win against New England Patriots, led by the star Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the main favorite on Sunday 10, to defeat Miami Dolphins at home, by 11 points or more, with -110 odds, according to Bovada.
New England Patriots is also the main favorite to win in the fifth week. In Houston, they have -110 odds to win the match against the Texans by more than nine points.
Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys are the notable favorites against franchises from the same divisions at home. Vikings has -105 odds to defeat the Lions, at least by eight points. At the same time, Dallas will play duo to the Giants and has -110 odds to win by eight points or more.
