After a bad regular season starts on NBA, things begin to go fine for Milwaukee Bucks. It was a terrible start for the current and two times Champion, duo to which everybody expected from them.
Around two weeks ago, the franchise was on Play-In zone on Eastern Conference, with six wins and eight losses, but turned the game and now, after seven straight wins, has 13 victories and the same eight losses.
But as the conference is too tight, Milwaukee is only 1.5 game behind the first place Brooklyn Nets, with 14 wins and six defeats.
The next match will be only on Wednesday 1º, at Fiserv Forum, against Charlotte Hornets. If Charlotte wins, they can overcome the Bucks and climb some positions on the standing. But for Bovada, it shouldn’t happen since Milwaukee must be the favorite.
Milwaukee is standing out because of the regularity of playing at home and away. The results are very close, no matter where they are playing. At Fiserv Forum, they have six wins and four losses, and away seven victories and the same number of losses. Considering the results against the teams from Central Division, they are 4 – 0.
The Bucks offense is also in a good moment. In only one match from the last seven, they made less than 107 points. Considering all the games from the regular season, Milwaukee is on 10th in PPG, with 109.9, 2nd in RPG, with 47.5 and 18th in APG, with 22.8.
The star Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the team in points and rebounds, with 27 and 11.8, respectively, despite 5.9 assists. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, which came back from an injury recently, are also helping. Holiday averages 14.8 points, 4.6 boards, and 5.9 passes, and Middleton, adding 16.8, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.8 assists. Bobby Portis is also with exciting numbers, with 15.4 points and 8.4 boards.
To help the players, on Sunday 28, the team signed with the center DeMarcus Cousins a one-year deal. He can be a good name for the roster, coming from the bench, since Brook Lopez has been out since the season opener game, and it’s still unclear when he will be back from injury. Cousins finished last season on Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds, and can give more size on the frontcourt.
